How we look after your information.
What we collect
When you sign up or write to us: your name, company, email, phone number and address, a description of what you would like stored, and any pickup details. When you sign the storage agreement: your typed name, the time, and your connection address and browser, which are recorded with the signed copy. For each piece we hold: photos, a description and a condition note.
Why
To store, track, collect and deliver your pieces, to bill you, and to keep a record of the agreement you signed. We do not sell your information or use it for advertising.
Who can see it
You, the Fritz Porter team, and our movers. Movers see the pieces and addresses they need for a job; billing is seen only by the office managers. Photos and agreements are stored privately and shown only to people signed in with permission to see them.
Services we use
Your account and records are kept with Supabase. Emails are sent through Resend. Bills and payments are handled by QuickBooks from Intuit; we never see or store your bank or card details. If you choose to get texts, they are sent through Twilio.
Texts and emails
We email you about your requests and bills. Texts are only sent if you turn them on in your account, and you can reply STOP at any time.
Your choices
You can see and update your details in your account, or write to storage@fritzporter.com to ask what we hold about you or to have it corrected or removed. Some records, such as bills and the signed agreement, are kept as long as the law requires.
